Martina is a PhD student who studies robustness and parameter estimation of gene network models to aid the creation of synthetic Turing patterns in bacterial colonies. She is co-supervised by Prof. Mark Isalan.

Supported by a Schroedinger PhD studentship, Georg works  on the design of synthetic Turing patterns in bacterial colonies. He is co-supervised by Prof. Mark Isalan, and currently collaborates with Prof. Ron Weiss at MIT.

Marta is a PhD student who studies interactions of bacteria in biofilms, in particular in P. aeruginosa involving the type-6 secretion system. She is co-supervised by Prof. Alain Filloux.

Antonio is a PhD student who works at the interface between machine learning and mechanistic biophysical modelling. Our collaborators are Prof. Mark Isalan and Syngenta.

Funded by a UKRI Transition Award, Roozbeh works at the interface between machine learning and mathematical modelling, in particular on physics-informed neural networks to study Turing patterns.
